About Kalamazoo Banner Works (KBW)
Founded in Kalamazoo, Michigan in 1983 by our President, architect Roger Lepley, AIA, Kalamazoo Banner Works (KBW) banner line is where it all began for Consort Display Group.
We began by helping communities attract attention with the finest quality light pole banners and state-of-the-art banner hardware. KBW was the first street banner company in the United States to sell to customers all over the world. We were also the first banner company to offer stock designs and to provide specialized mounting hardware created to dissipate wind force.
Kalamazoo Banner Works specializes in large vertical format banners. Due to the rich texture and bold images of our screen printed acrylic marine fabric (Sunbrella®) banners, we have continued to offer this printing method. These fabric banners are the preferred choice of many of our customers for their vibrant colors and their extreme durability.
As technology changed over the years, we began to print digital banners for the growing number of customers who needed to print more detailed designs. Today, design options are limitless when it comes to digital printing. No matter what your needs are when it comes to banners, our Consort Art Department can assist with creating your design. We offer free, no obligation design services for most projects.
Our KBW product line is recognized around the world for our superior BannerFlex® brand light pole banner bracket products for vertical format banners. As the inventor of the very first fiberglass and aluminum combination brackets, Consort continues this tradition of being the industry innovator with products that always surpass the ordinary. Our research and development is on-going and relentless.
As demand has grown, so have our product lines, all of which are designed and manufactured in the USA in Southwest Michigan by Consort. We remain committed to using cutting-edge technology, resulting in well-designed, thoughtful and reliable products and sold and serviced by our friendly and attentive staff.
