About FlagTrax® Mounting Hardware

How is FlagTrax Hardware Mounted?

FlagTrax is designed for a wide range of applications. These include mounting to lighting columns, round or octagonal steel or concrete poles, wooden lampposts, etc., as well as mounting to suitable walls, stand alone fixed poles.  The track is typically fixed to structures with screws or stainless steel band strapping. A horizontal top bracket arm is required at the top of the track for utility pole and standard wall installations. This bracket arm is an integral part of the system to bear the wind forces that are transmitted by the flag or banner. A specially fitted flag or banner is pushed up the track with our new PushPull™ Rod or, conversely, lowered down the track. The FlagTrax bracket especially designed for FlagTrax should be included for most installations.

FlagTrax Security

For ease of use and convenience the access point to FlagTrax can be at eye level with a locking cap at the bottom of the track providing security. If additional security is required, the access point can be positioned a couple feet higher which can be reached with a step ladder.

FlagTrax Sizes

There are five stock sizes of track. They each accommodate two to three sizes of flags, as shown in the charts below.

Support Brackets

A horizontal top bracket arm is required for utility pole and standard wall installations. This bracket arm is an integral part of the system to bear the wind forces that are transmitted by the flag. A KBW FlagTrax bracket especially designed for FlagTrax should be included for most installations.

What Are the Benefits of Using FlagTrax vs. traditional light pole banners?

The cost of flag changes is the most important aspect. With FlagTrax, a Street Flag can be replaced from the ground in a matter of minutes where a standard Street Banner requires a bucket truck. This means each Street Flag can be changed for, say, $5.00 versus up to $100 or more per bucket truck-assisted replacement. Caution: Only flags, banners, fittings and or objects authorized by Consort Display Group are to be used on this patented PushPull Installation System. The use of unauthorized items will compromise safety, intellectual property law and will void all warranties.

Shown above are 3 of the 5 standard size for FlagTrax® 3 of the 10 standard size of flags and 2 access point options to the bottom of the track.
